What Is Filler Dissolving?
Filler dissolving involves the use of hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid–based dermal fillers. Once injected, hyaluronidase works to gradually dissolve the filler, allowing the body to naturally absorb it.
This treatment is only suitable for fillers made from hyaluronic acid and cannot dissolve permanent or non-HA fillers.

The Treatment Process
Your appointment at Lumi Aesthetica begins with a detailed consultation and assessment of the treated area. In some cases, a patch test may be required prior to treatment. The procedure itself is quick, with targeted injections to dissolve the filler safely and effectively.
Results & What to Expect
Results can begin to appear within 24–48 hours, although full dissolution may take up to two weeks depending on the amount and type of filler present. In some cases, more than one session may be required to achieve the desired result.
Aftercare & Recovery
You may experience swelling, redness or tenderness following treatment, which typically resolves within a few days. Aftercare advice will be provided to support healing and minimise risks.
